‘TIME’
RELEASE DATE: 29th July 2016
After the recent release of second album ‘Satellite On’ and a new live show featuring a unique combination of vocal performances, live/sub-bass, theremin, keyboard/fx/looping, DJying and electronic drums, Brighton/Bristol-based electronic/soul/dub collective Ink Project announce their second single ‘Time’ from the same album – complete with a set of down-tempo/electronica, breakbeat and dub/reggae remixes from Nine Volt Rumour, Coreysan and Grant Dell.
Avaliable on 29th July via the Blind Colour label, producer Jez Lloyd delivers an epic slice of space-aged, Pacific Ocean-influenced ambient dub/reggae, while Trinidadian-born Coreysan‘s visionary genius and dulcit tones are overlaid – pondering the universal themes of time, love, procrastination, fear and the after-life.
Nine Volt Rumour serve up a lusher, more orchestral/electronica interpretation before Coreysan‘s rousing, up-tempo, mystical bass and breakbeats pave the way for Grant Dell‘s Studio One/Coxon-inspired dub/reggae remix, awash with Roland Space Echo, piano samples and fragments of the original keyboard parts.
Tracklisting:
1)Time (Original)
2)Time (Nine Volt Rumour Remix)
3)Time (Coreysan Remix)
4)Time (Grant Dell’s Frantic Dub)
Out 29th July 2016 on Blind Colour via iTunes, Beatport, 7 Digital, Amazon and all of the usual suspects.
